Here’s what we store.
Account and flat records
RentalDesk stores your name, email, phone, city, owner UPI ID, flat details, detailed party/property/rental inputs, optional supplementary photos/videos, handover notes/photos, agreement proposals and decisions, draft confirmations, certificate details, signed files, and rent entries. We do not ask for Aadhaar, bank-account or card details.
Who can see them
An owner sees their flats. A tenant sees only their linked flat. The site administrator sees signups, public requests, and agreement requests and their related records for processing. Private files require an authorized account.
Optional wording assistance
If you choose Help me word this inside an agreement, your point and relevant non-identifying rental terms are sent to the configured AI provider. Phone numbers, email addresses, UPI IDs, handover photos and signed scans, detailed addresses, location data and supplementary videos are not sent as agreement context. Do not type sensitive personal details into the point. You can write clauses manually instead.
History and confirmations
We preserve issue and clause revisions, decisions, and timestamps rather than silently erasing disagreement. A displayed confirmation code is an acknowledgement record, not SMS identity verification or an electronic signature.
Cookies and questions
An essential session cookie keeps you logged in. Contact and pilot requests are stored for admin review. For a question about your data, use the contact form. This version has no self-service deletion feature.
